It is appreciated that some people struggle to book appointments and access treatment. Over the last 5 years, General Practice workload has grown in both volume and complexity, with a growing number of patients living with multimorbidity who need ongoing care.
Despite an expansion in the number of additional clinical roles within General Practice, pressure on access to appointments remain a significant challenge.
