The practice management team are responsible for the overall day to day management of the practice including complaints, contracting, human resources, information governance, supporting the partners and other medical professionals with delivering good quality patient care.

Our patient coordinators and administration team are specially trained to know about the care and services available to you at your surgery and in your area. The patient coordinators and administrators will facilitate patients accessing the clinical care provided by the practice, support the GP’s and nurses in providing that care, and act as first point of contact for anyone accessing the practice. They will also support the practice with operational duties and administrative tasks.
The patient coordinators provide an important link for patients with the surgery and are your initial contact for general enquiries. They can provide information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Patient coordinators make most patient appointments with the GPs and nurses and can have a difficult job to do, with telephone calls and enquiries from every direction. When telephoning for medical attention, the patient coordinators will ask you for a few details. They have been trained to make these enquiries so that we can help you in the most appropriate way. Patient coordinators also perform other important tasks, such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription queries, dealing with patient records, audits and general administration duties. Jackie currently leads a team of 8 patient coordinators – Lorraine, Debbie, Sonia, Suzanne, Tayla, Tanya, Vikki and Laura.

Lorraine Wright
Our clinical administrator, Lorraine assists the GPs with administration duties such as summarising, processing hospital letters and referrals.
Alison Matthews
Our data administrator, Alison looks after our recalls for our medication reviews, summarising, workflow and providing additional cover for reception.
Jude Michie
Jude is a general practice assistant, part of our ParkWood PCN team supporting the practice manager with policy compliance, workflow and assisting clinical staff where required.
